APPARATA is a Stirling Prize nominated architecture, design and research studio for convivial and adaptable spaces, objects, and landscapes. They work foundationally with how material, environmental and social realms can interact and support each other, addressing issues around social bonds and agency, adaptability and re-use, material supply chains and decarbonisation, climate resilience and comfort.
APPARATA is led by Astrid Smitham ETH SIA RIBA ARB, and Nicholas Lobo Brennan. They are a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Practice.
